Celebrating One Year of Rising Wings

This month, we celebrate the first anniversary of Rising Wings! What a truly incredible journey it’s been, sharing this story with audiences in film festivals across the U.S. and around the world. From the very beginning, Rising Wings set out to honor a unique slice of American life and cultural heritage, and the response has been both humbling and deeply gratifying.
Over the past year, Rising Wings has earned 35 awards, in addition 11 finalist placements, 8 nominations, and 4 honorable mentions, and has been welcomed into 41 film festivals. These achievements are beyond anything we could have imagined for our humble made-for-TV documentary, and it fills us with pride to see how the film has resonated with so many.
Now, as Rising Wings prepares to take flight beyond the festival circuit, we’re thrilled to share it with even more audiences through digital distribution. You can watch the film on its home site at RisingWingsFilm.com, and soon it will be available on smart TVs, specialty streaming platforms, and in selected libraries.
